Campaign for Justice Seeks Coordinator

The Campaign for Justice seeks an experienced development professional to coordinate a successful and growing annual giving campaign among Maine’s legal community. The Campaign Coordinator will develop and execute strategies to raise money so that low-income Mainers have access to legal representation. Launched in 2004, the Campaign for Justice raised more than $600,000 in 2016 for six legal aid providers: Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project, Legal Services for the Elderly, Maine Equal Justice Partners, Pine Tree Legal Assistance, and Volunteer Lawyers Project.

The Campaign Coordinator should be able to analyze giving data effectively; communicate in a clear and compelling way; recruit, train and motivate a strong base of volunteer solicitors; and strategize major donor, mid-level and mail solicitations. The ideal candidate will hold as a core value fair and equal access to civil justice for poor and vulnerable Mainers. Based at the Maine Justice Foundation, the Campaign Coordinator position is full-time but flexible.
